Muehlhan Wind Service expands North American blade repairs, spare parts and additional turbine services with acquisition of AC883 operating assets

Muehlhan Wind Service (MWS) acquires the operating assets of AC883 Renewable Energy Services, a Canada-based wind service specialist with a strong presence in Canada and the United States. The transaction strengthens MWS’s position across North America and supports the continued expansion of blade repairs and wind turbine services in a region where wind fleets are maturing and asset owners are increasingly focused on long-term performance and asset longevity.

As wind turbine services, spare parts and lifetime extension become critical priorities for owners of aging wind fleets, the transaction enhances MWS’s ability to support customers throughout the full operational life of their wind assets. By combining AC883’s strong local execution capabilities with MWS’s broader technical experience, operational systems, and international experience, the MWS Group is positioned to deliver scalable, consistent turbine services across North America.

Following the transaction, the activities will continue under Muehlhan Wind Service Canada (formerly Energy Wind Renewables). This ensures continuity for customers and employees, while enabling a structured integration of AC883’s capabilities into the wider MWS organization.

From an operational perspective, the acquisition strengthens MWS’s regional delivery capabilities:
