Acquisition of Endiprev

1st of June, 2024

Muehlhan Wind Service and Endiprev join forces.

Effective June 1, 2024, Muehlhan Wind Service (MWS) has acquired a controlling interest in Endiprev, merging two wind industry leaders to create a global frontrunner within Installation and Service.

Headquartered in Denmark, Muehlhan Wind Service has significantly expanded over the past seven years as an independent division within the Germany based Muehlhan Group. MWS has established itself as a major global player in the wind industry, offering a comprehensive range of services including installation, offshore pre-assembly, blade repair work, scheduled service, and large-scale upgrade and repair campaigns. Muehlhan Wind Service’s primary markets include Northern Europe, the UK, North America, and Australia.

Following the acquisition of the Muehlhan Group by the US-based investor group One Equity Partners in late 2022, Muehlhan Wind Service has pursued an ambitious growth strategy through acquisitions and continued organic expansion. Over the past 18 months, MWS has acquired several companies, including: TRG Wind, ROS, 3WIS, EPIK Energy, Professional Wind Service
(PWS), Energy Wind & Renewables (EWR), and now Endiprev. Endiprev, headquartered in Portugal, is renowned for its expertise in commissioning and MV/HV work, with a strong presence in the UK, USA, and Europe, particularly France. The company will continue to operate under its existing brand, with the aim of gradually unifying the two companies over time.
The current executive management team, including CEO André Ribeiro and COO André Pereira, will remain in place and retain ownership stakes.

André Ribeiro states, “Joining forces with MWS provides us with the resources and strategic support necessary to reach new heights. We are excited about the opportunities this partnership brings. The immediate focus after the merger will be to ensure that existing customers continue to receive our usual high level of service, while we seek to harness operational synergies between our two companies to deliver even stronger support to our clients globally.

Søren Høffer, CEO of Muehlhan Wind Service, adds, “This acquisition aligns perfectly with our strategic goals of global expansion and service enhancement. Endiprev’s commitment to excellence in safety, quality, and execution aligns perfectly with our philosophy and commitments. Their strong expertise in electrical scopes and high-voltage systems complements our own, creating a formidable partnership capable of providing unparalleled support to our clients worldwide.”

MWS has set ambitious growth targets and expects to have over 3,000 wind turbine technicians globally in 2024. The combined strengths of Muehlhan Wind Service and Endiprev will further broaden geographical reach, providing a more diversified and flexible service-offering for clients worldwide.
